Addiction Treatment in California Today

Addiction today is a growing problem of increasing complexity.  Addicts are becoming hooked on heroin and prescription opioids, which are much harder to kick.  Many addicts have co-occurring disorders, which can range from bipolar disorder and ADHD to bulemia or depression.  Sadly, families seeking treatment for their loved ones are unaware that the majority of residential recovery services in California are unequipped -- and unlicensed -- to deal with "dual-diagnosis" clients.
