4/29/14 Voted in favor of AB 2491, which initially proposed to declare a business operated, Recovery Care Residence that obtained third-party certification a "residential use" of property. This is an old trick proposed by industry to exempt its business-operated houses from licensure.

Eventually this bill was narrowed to be a pilot program in Costa Mesa, which has the second largest number of recovery residences in the state.
