          2012-2020   Congressional Representative, U.S. House of Representatives

    7/11/16     As a member of the House of Representatives, Congress Member Peters did not sign a bipartisan letter authored by Reps. Stewart and Frankel requesting that the Government Accountability Office conduct a review of federal and state oversight of unregulated recovery residences.

    1/12/17     Did not co-sponsor Darrell Issa's HR 472, the Safe Recovery and Community Empowerment Act, which would have given cities the power to regulate Recovery Residences.
