Maryott - Track Record on Recovery Residences,
​     aka "Sober Living Homes"

San Juan Capistrano City Council Member Brian Maryott (R - District 5) has served as:
          2016-2020   Council Member and Mayor Pro Tempore, City of San Juan Capistrano
District 5 is heavily impacted by Recovery Residences.

          Fall 2016   During his campaign for City Council Member, Maryott put out a letter on the issue to his constituents.  

          Fall 2018   Voted in favor of tightening wording about Short Term Living Units in the municipal code for rentals that are less than 30 days.

Mayor Pro Tem Maryott also voted in favor of sending Council Member Ferguson to Washington, DC and Sacramento to discuss Recovery Residences with legislators.
